Okotoks Public Library (OPL)
OPL has been a fixture of the Okotoks community since 1977! We've come a long way from the tiny little room on main street, first moving to our current location in 1990 and then expanding (to almost double the size!) in 2005. We are a member of the Marigold Library System and a part of the resource sharing mechanism of TRAC which is Alberta wide. We are proud to serve Okotoks and the surrounding Foothills County.
OPL is a key service provider that is an integral part of campus activities and in general, the Okotoks community and region. With innovative and meaningful use of the new space, OPL will provide opportunities to link families, youth, seniors, entrepreneurs, and the business community as an accessible cornerstone that empowers and strengthens the social and economic vitality in Okotoks.
Vision Statement: Heart of the Community, Key to the World.
Mission Statement: We provide opportunities that enrich, inspire and empower individuals.
