Update: Youth 12 -17 will NOT be required to have proof of vaccination as part of Provincial REP

Please be aware that the Town of Okotoks has just been advised by the Chief Medical Officer of Health that youth 12 -17 will NOT be required to have proof of vaccination as part of the implementation of the Restrictions Exemption Program. Effective Tuesday, September 21, the first day of implementation of the REP in Okotoks, it will apply ONLY to adults 18 and over. The Town of Okotoks is participating in the program and visitors (aged 18 years and older) will be required to provide identification (I.D.) in addition to proof of vaccination, medical exemption (original vaccine exemption letter) or a negative PCR or rapid test (privately-paid, completed within the last 72 hours) when visiting the following facilities:

  • Okotoks Recreation Centre (ORC), 
  • Pason Centennial Arenas (PCA) and 
  • special event facilities on an event-specific basis
