Okotoks is taking a significant step towards enhancing its arts and culture scene with the launch of the Arts and Culture Activation Grant. This initiative is designed to promote arts and culture activity, encourage visitation, and provide vital funding for arts development and artists in our town.
The Arts and Culture Activation Grant is set to support the creation of new evening and weekend arts and culture events, activities, and programs. This grant aims to foster economic and social profit by complimenting the vibrancy of Okotoks.
“There is a mountain of evidence showing that events build both financial and social profit in communities. The goal of this grant is to make Okotoks an even better place to live,” says Culture & Heritage Team Leader Allan Boss,”
The Town of Okotoks encourages residents and social-profit organizations to organize special events, gatherings, and activities that enrich our community. Applications for the grant will open in early 2024.

Please Note: Review of applications will begin at the end of January 2024 in order to select those whose qualifications and proposal most closely meet the criteria. Successful applications will be contacted by the Town of Okotoks.
The grant will stay open until all the funds are distributed.
