Skating & Ice Safety in Okotoks

Did you know that the Town has created 13 outdoor skating rinks in town including the latest one beside Fire Station No. 1 on Milligan Drive?  Other new rinks that have popped up around Town can be found at Cimarron Vista Way, Sheep River Cove and Hunters Place.  Also new to Town is the very popular Laudan Park loop that is a unique 460 metre skating pathway located west on Hwy 549 past the Mountainview neighbourhood.

The Okotoks Fire Department want you to stay safe this winter and remember to not use storm ponds or the Sheep River for ice skating. Learn why by watching this video:
