Parking requirements temporarily relaxed for RVs

In providing ongoing support for the Okotoks community, the Town is temporarily relaxing regulations for the length of time that recreational vehicles (RVs) can be parked at a residence.

Residents can park an RV in their driveway until June 30 to assist with self-isolation for themselves or their extended family members. Additionally, this Bylaw relaxation will also support any families that have been financially impacted by COVID-19 and cannot afford storage fees for their RVs.

Please note that RVs parked on driveways cannot be obstructing the sidewalk. RV parking on the road is allowed to continue providing RV’s are attached to a tow vehicle and do not remain for more than 72 hours in accordance with Town Bylaws.  Parking any vehicles within back lanes is prohibited.

Residents who want to park their RVs for an extended period must register their RV with Okotoks Municipal Enforcement by contacting them at 403.995.6302.
