Changes for spectators in Town facilities

The Town of Okotoks is required to limit capacities for spectators in both the Okotoks Recreation Centre and Pason Centennial Arenas in accordance with the new provincial Alberta Health Services (AHS) COVID-19 restrictions starting December 24.

Spectators in the Murray arena are limited to 500, while Pason Centennial Arena Green are limited to 750 spectators. No food or drinks are allowed to be consumed by spectators.

If purchasing food at the concession in the Rec Centre, it must be consumed seated in the dining area, and not inside an arena.

Masks must be worn by anyone entering Pason Centennial Arenas and the Recreation Centre and while inside.

No changes are anticipated for the New Year’s Eve Day activities or in the Rotary Performing Arts Centre (RPAC).

The Town appreciates residents’ cooperation and patience during this time as changes can happen quickly.

The Santa's Christmas Eve Parade will continue as planned and departs Fire Station No. 1 at 132 Milligan Dr. at 5 p.m. on December 24. Santa requests that everyone abides by the current AHS guidelines and not gather in crowds along the parade route.
