Canada Post mail delivery disruption: Town payment due dates remain in effect

In the event of a disruption to Canada Post mail service, residents are advised to make Town of Okotoks payments using one of the following options to avoid a late penalty:

  • Pay in Person: Present a copy of your bill/tax notice and payment (cash, cheque or debit) to the cashier at the Okotoks Municipal Centre, located at #5 Elizabeth Street. The Municipal Centre is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., closed on weekends and statutory holidays.
  • Pay at your Bank: Pay at most local banks, credit unions, or an TD Canada Trust Bank by presenting a copy of your bill and form of payment.
  • After Hours Payment Drop-off: Place your payment along with the bottom portion of your bill/tax notice in an envelope and drop your payment off into the night deposit box located at the front doors of the Okotoks Municipal Centre, #5 Elizabeth Street.
  • Online: Payments can be made online through most major banks or credit unions. To avoid late charges, allow seven days for processing.

Utility and Tax Payment

At this time, the Town does not accept payment by credit card or e-transfer for utility and tax bills. For more information on paying your utility bill or property taxes, call 403-938-4404 or visit okotoks.ca/utilities, okotoks.ca/taxes or okotoks.ca/ways-to-pay.
