Annual Volunteer Leadership Awards

Stay tuned for more information

The Annual Volunteer Leadership Awards took a break in 2022 to allow the Planning Committee to evaluate and make improvements to the program in order to provide the community with a meaningful volunteer recognition event. Please check back again at your convenience to see what may be coming forward in 2023.

Established in 1996, the community-focused Volunteer Leadership Awards celebrate the contributions and accomplishments of outstanding volunteers in our community in a partnership between the Town of Okotoks, Western Wheel, and Okotoks Rotary Club. The awards promote the value of volunteering and serve as an inspiration for others to embrace community involvement and become volunteers.

The Volunteer Leadership Awards Planning Committee will be seeking public input later this spring to learn what meaningful recognition looks like to the community.

Okotoks Premier Volunteer Recognition Event!

Volunteerism creates a vibrant community, and each year we recognize this with The Annual Leadership Awards, in conjunction with National Volunteer Week. Established in 1996, this community-focused volunteer recognition event celebrates the contributions and accomplishments of outstanding volunteers in our community. The awards promote the value of volunteering and serve as an inspiration for others to embrace community involvement and become volunteers.
