The Town of Okotoks is pleased to announce that a community garden is planned for installation through the Okotoks Neighbourhood Community Garden program, led by the community, and is designed for the community. This is the first application received by the Town since the program launched in 2021. The garden will be installed later this spring in Drake Landing at the south end of soccer field parking lot, 45 Drake Landing Drive (see map below).
The Okotoks Neighbourhood Community Garden program helps residents establish community-led garden projects in Town of Okotoks parks and green spaces. Community gardens contribute to developing a healthier community by helping residents grow food and build social connections in their neighbourhood.
