About the Artists:

Woman seated playing a large wooden harp. Kathy Pepers started the piano at the age of 5, finishing her grade 10 RCM and teaching and accompanying for many years. She took up the harp only after flirting with a long line of other instruments. Raised with a rich appreciation for classical music, she discovered Celtic music as she studied the harp and was smitten - with the harp and with the music. Over the last decade, she's been grateful to share that music at various concerts and clubs in the Calgary area, both as a soloist and along with several Celtic bands, and she's always especially glad to take part in events like Celtic Folk and the Water Valley Celtic Festival that shine a rare light on that beautiful Celtic music.
