  • Get ready for a wild adventure! This week, we're uncovering the amazing creatures that thrive in Okotoks during winter! From brave animals that tough it out in the cold to those who migrate or hibernate, there's so much to discover. Have you spotted any winter wildlife in your town? Join us and let's explore together!

    Here's what we've going on this week:

    All DayExplore: Open to the public to explore and learn how to identify animals from their tracks and scat!
    10 a.m.Reading Time: How animals keep warm
    1 p.m.Craft: Make your own animal mask!
    2:30 p.m.Watch & Wonder: Wildlife in winter

    Please note: parents must stay with their children while they are in the education centre.

    Hours: Nature Fridays take place every Friday at the Environmental Education Centre from 10 AM to 4 PM. There will be a  staff member will be on hand running activities, and will be available to chat with the public and answer questions.
