Looking for something to do with your kiddos on a Friday? Drop into the Environmental Education Centre anytime throughout the day, and join one of our Conservation Educators for FREE, fun educational activities themed around a different aspect of nature and our local environment each week!

If you've never been to this vibrant, cheerful, interactive space - you need to visit! There's plenty to learn—for people of all ages!

Here's what we've going on this week:

Activity: Waste Sorting Game

Eco Centre Tour: Join our conservation educator and a member of the waste services team to learn about how we divert waste here at the town!

2:30 PMVideo presentation: Learn about waste collection safety! 

Please note: parents must stay with their children while they are in the education centre.

Hours: the Environmental Education Centre is open Monday to Friday to the public from 8 AM to 4 PM. Fridays a staff member will be on hand running activities, and will be available to chat with the public and answer questions.
