Drop into the Environmental Education Centre anytime throughout the day, and join one of our Conservation Educators for FREE, fun educational activities themed around a different aspect of nature and our local environment each week!
Theme: Re-use Day
Here's what we've going on this week:
|8 AM - 4 PM||Explore: Open to the public to explore|
|Reading time: Books provided by our friends at the Okotoks Public Library, read by a Conservation Educator|
|10:15 AM||Craft: water bottle wind spirals|
Activity: Waste Sorting Game - does it belong in the garbage, organics, recycling, OR can it be reused?
|2:30 PM||Video time: Join the Conservation Educators to learning about the 3 Rs with an educational video and chat.|
Please note: parents must stay with their children while they are in the education centre.
Hours: the Environmental Education Centre is open Monday to Friday to the public from 8 AM to 4 PM. Fridays a staff member will be on hand running activities, and will be available to chat with the public and answer questions.
