  • Join us to celebrate International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste! This week you can learn about various actions to reduce food loss and waste. Kids will get creative and transform food scraps into sustainable crafts! Hang onto your citrus peels and make beautiful, aromatic, compostable garlands! Become a food waste warrior and play our food waste-themed bingo game.

    Please note: parents must stay with their children while they are in the education centre.

    Hours: the Environmental Education Centre is open Monday to Friday to the public from 8 AM to 4 PM. Fridays a staff member will be on hand running activities, and will be available to chat with the public and answer questions.
