  • Get ready to crawl, flutter, and create at Nature Friday! From tiny snails to colorful caterpillars, Alberta is home to tons of fascinating creatures that play a vital role in our ecosystem. Unleash your imagination as we dive into hands-on crafts inspired by our buggy friends, head outside for chalk drawings and a bug walk and tune into education videos about Alberta's native bug species. Let your creativity soar as you bring these critters to life! 

     

    Here's what we've going on this week:

    All DayCraft: Bug-themed colouring pages 
    10 a.m.Craft: Leafy hungry caterpillar craft
    1 p.m.Outdoor Adventures: Chalk drawings and bug walk 
    2:30 p.m.Watch & Wonder: Alberta's native bug species 

    Please note: parents must stay with their children while they are in the education centre.

    Hours: Nature Fridays take place every Friday at the Environmental Education Centre from 10 AM to 4 PM. There will be a staff member will be on hand running activities, and will be available to chat with the public and answer questions.
