In honour of World Water Day on March 22nd, this Nature Friday will focus on acknowledging and appreciating our access to clean, healthy water. Try your hand at our water budgeting game, make a water-saving commitment, and learn how we can keep our water clean for decades to come!

Here's what we've got going on this week:
ALL DAY | Craft: Colouring all day long! |
10 AM | Discussion Time: Make your water saving commitment and add it to our community board |
11 AM - Noon | Are you a dayhome or home schooling your kiddos? Come by to connect with other members of the community during this social hour while taking in free, fun learning activities. |
1 PM | Game Time: Take a crack at the water budgeting game, which teaches kids how our water consumption impacts the whole community and how they can use water wisely to make sure we leave water for our people and animal neighbours downstream. |
2:30 PM | Water Meter Portal tutorial: Learn how to sign up for the portal associated with your water utility account and set it up so that you can detect leaks and manage your water usage. The portal allows you to monitor your individual daily water consumption yourself, in real-time! |
Please note: parents must stay with their children while they are in the Environmental Education Centre.
Hours: the Environmental Education Centre is open Monday to Friday to the public from 8 AM to 4 PM. On Fridays a staff member will be on hand running activities, and will be available to chat with the public and answer any questions.
