Nature Friday: Scavenger Day


What do raccoons, pigeons, and coyotes have in common? They are all scavengers! Learn about some of the local scavenger species, as well as what it means to be a scavenger.

There will also be educational videos and themed colouring pages for this week’s topic!

Please note: parents must stay with their children while they are in the Environmental Education Centre.

Hours: the Environmental Education Centre is open Monday to Friday to the public from 8 AM to 4 PM. On Fridays a staff member will be on hand running activities, and will be available to chat with the public and answer any questions.
