About Reagan Markwell | B. Sc, Master of Management Candidate | June 2024

Citizen of the Métis Nation of Alberta Region III, and Cree Métis from Treaty 1, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Reagan is a dedicated lifelong learner, and is proud to be continuing her educational journey with the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business.

Having previously coordinated the Ótáp ímisskaan Indigenous Youth Leadership Program, as well as the Indigenous Student Access Program with the university’s Writing Symbols Lodge, Reagan has momentarily stepped away from her role as the Leadership Development Specialist with the University of Calgary’s, Centre for Career and Personal Development, to purse her graduate studies through the Master of Management program.

Reagan’s journey is marked by a profound commitment to research, leadership, Indigenous Ways of Knowing, Doing, and Being, as well as Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. This commitment is fueled by her enthusiasm for designing and facilitating programming that inspire transformative initiatives, foster inclusive communities, and create ethical space to facilitate positive change, continuous learning, and reconciliation. Embracing collaboration, diversity, and the richness they bring, Reagan blends passion, and strategy in each of her endeavours to create a meaningful and lasting impact in the communities she serves.
