The DIY Home Energy program has been improved in order to help Okotokians save more on electricity.  Request the Energy Assessment kit to help you identify your energy losses. Then take a look at the EasyFix list in step 3 below and choose from the FREE items like LED light bulbs, window & door weatherization kits, and outlet insulation to help you make your home more efficient and save you money on electricity bills.

This program will only be in effect until we run out of products, so book your DIY Kit quickly!

Borrow the DIY Home Energy Assessment from the Town’s Municipal Centre by submitting an online form calling 403-995-2798.


Use the kit to Complete your home energy assessment and take note of the issues you identify. Issues will be areas where your home could be more energy efficient
