There are residents in Okotoks who are unable to remove snow from their property and need extra help. By Adopting a Sidewalk you will be matched with a resident for the winter season and will shovel as needed. The impact this has on the recipients of the program is huge -- residents are able to get safely in and out of their homes.

Anyone can be a Snow Angel!
Do you have neighbours who may need a temporary hand with shovelling their sidewalk or driveway? After a snowfall, take a look up and down your street to see if you can be someone’s Snow Angel, and lend a hand to those who may need help clearing their snow. The seniors, new parents, those who are ill, injured or just need a temporary hand will appreciate their friendly neighbours!
No program registration required, just grab a shovel and be a good neighbor - and please remember to keep fire hydrants clear.
