• Strategic Business Plan

  The Town of Okotoks Strategic Plan  establishes the Corporation’s strategic direction for the four-year elected term of Town Council. It describes the areas on which Council will focus and provides specific directions to Administration on what is important to Council for the continuous improvement of our community. This Plan sets out the Corporation’s key result areas and initiatives, cites the Community Vision and Values, and Guiding Principles.

  Master Plans represent long-range community planning documents and tools that establish a foundation to guide the community’s future over the next 20 years. These documents have all been developed in conjunction with extensive community input and public engagement.

  The Town of Okotoks plans to grow to an anticipated 70,000-90,000 people by 2080. Given this anticipated population growth, and planning for our community's future, the Town conducted a community-wide visioning process in 2014. This set out what the Town should look like in 60 years, and the characteristics that will be important to consider as this community grows. Extensive community engagement was undertaken to identify community values and shared aspirations to inform the Town’s vision.
