Okotoks Interagency group is hosted by Okotoks FCSS and is for local representatives from agencies, organizations, and businesses who provide services to individuals and families. This meeting provides an opportunity for service providers to network, discuss important local social issues, develop partnerships and avoid duplication of services. Information about upcoming events and programs are distributed with the monthly agenda. The mailing list is shared within the group so people can easily remain in contact.
Meetings are from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the Okotoks Recreation Centre on the fourth Wednesday of the month, with a few exceptions:
- There are no meetings in July, August and December
- The June meeting is generally a Conversation Cafe with discussion on a topic of interest and a luncheon provided by FCSS
Okotoks Interagency circulates an email one week prior the meeting to pass on pertinent information to participating agencies, including agency program updates, staffing news, upcoming workshops and professional development opportunities, and special events. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to be included on the distribution list or have information included in the next agenda package.
