Funding Opportunities

Social Innovation Fund for Pilot Projects Information

The innovation fund is for pilot projects that are innovative or add a new/enhanced element to an existing program while still meeting the FCSS funding criteria.  Agencies are welcome to apply for the innovation fund in addition to other grants.  

There is currently Social Innovation Funds available. Funds must be spent by December 31, 2018

United Way/Okotoks Partnership Grant Information

The United Way/Okotoks Partnership provides funding to non-profit organizations for programs that address social needs of Okotoks and area residents.

In 2018 there is $90,160 available for Community Investment.

FCSS Grant Information

Each year grants for funding are available for non-profit community organizations and social service groups that are involved in the delivery of preventive social services to residents in Okotoks. Organizations interested in receiving funding have the chance to apply each year and must meet provincial funding criteria. The grant application period typically opens in mid October and closes on November 30th of each year, with funding presentations being held in January.

Agencies applying for funding are required to complete an application form and present to the Family and Community Support Services Advisory Committee.  All funds must be used in the calendar year in which they were received.

  • Tuesday, January 16th, 2018
  • Wednesday, January 17th, 2018
  • $280,000 in FCSS funding will be available in Okotoks for 2018.
