The following services offer financial support to people who are currently facing some financial challenges and want to participate in Town-operated recreational programs, activities and facilities. Income guidelines apply. Please contact each individual service for more information.
Recreation Fee Assistance Programs
- Supports children 6-18, adults and seniors; preschoolers are considered if ineligible for Stay At Home Parents Support.
- Residents may qualify for up to 80% of cost of program or any Recreation Centre pass/admission to a maximum of $200 yearly.

Funding is available to support children between the ages of 4 to 18 years participating in sports and recreation.
Only sustained activities are funded, including:
Sports camps running for a minimum five consecutive days, or
Sports and recreational activities running for a minimum of five weeks

Supports eligible families with one parent who stays at home to provide care or who works or attends school less than 20 hours per week.
Subsidy is provided for preschool children aged 0-6 and not yet attending grade 1.
Families may qualify for up to $1200 yearly, per child, to participate in approved early childhood programs (day camps do not qualify).
