Starting the week of July 6, the Town will begin to re-open recreation facilities in a phased approach. Programs and services are currently being adjusted to ensure the safety of residents and employees.
The use of facilities, and the way activities are offered, will be different. The Town appreciates users’ patience and co-operation in following the new requirements. As part of the re-opening process, hours of operation have been modified:
Aquatics: Tuesday/Thursday: 6 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Wednesday/Friday: 1 – 9 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Client Services desk: Tuesday/Thursday - 5:30 am – 1:30 pm
Wednesday/Friday - 12:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Saturdays - 9:30 am – 5:30 pm
Sunday/Monday – Closed
Water Spray Park: 7 days per week (if over 20º)
Natural High Fitness: Monday-Friday: 7am – 8pm
Saturday: 7am – 6pm
Sunday: 8am – 4pm
Closed statutory holidays
Natural High Fitness will remain open for drop-in.
All aquatic/fitness activities and classes will be available on a bookable basis only as there is limited capacity in order to ensure proper physical distancing. These include one-hour time slots for lane swim, cohort lane swim (maximum 10 people), cohort leisure swim (maximum 10 people), tethered in deep water and Moderate Aquafit (maximum 10 people). There are no swim lessons planned at this time.
There are also a choice of eight dryland fitness classes including Spin, Metcom Madness, and Bootcamp (maximum 14 people for Spin and eight for all other classes).
Registrants are asked to come dressed for the activity and leave dressed as they came. While regular admission rates apply, all activities are included in all-facility passes. Booking is scheduled to open the first week of July
The Pason Centennial Arenas will only be open for pre-booked user groups. The walking track and multi-purpose spaces will remain closed in the first phase of the re-opening.
