As part of the Laurie Boyd Bridge replacement project, and in alignment with Council’s strategic directions to provide Quality Infrastructure and a Healthy and Safe Community, landscaping will be completed behind the Okotoks Public Library (click button below to see image).
Installation of retaining walls, flowerbeds and new crushed rundle rock trails will occur beginning approximately September 17 and take several weeks to complete, weather permitting. Pathway will remain open during this work but please expect disruptions. Note that several parking stalls in the parking lot by the library will be utilized as a staging area and will not be available for use; alternative parking is located by Ethel Tucker Park along Riverside Drive. Landscaping materials will be stored at the old creamery site on Riverside Drive.
Please watch for equipment and workers; obey signage and use caution in these areas. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
