Summer Events Artisan Vendors

The Town of Okotoks is looking for Artisan Vendors for the markets at the following 2018 summer events in downtown Okotoks:

  • Buskersfest: June 23 – Course Code: 55101

  • Taste of Okotoks: July 21 – Course Code: 55102

  • ChiliFest: Aug 25 – Course Code: 55103

These markets will showcase locally produced food, value added packaged foods and artisan products. Do you have a handmade product? Are you an artisan or a distributor of unique products? We are looking forward to adding you to the vendor line-up for the 2018 Markets. Please note: we are not registering Direct Sales (Avon, Tupperware, etc.) at this time.

How do I register as a vendor?

To register for one or all of the downtown events can be made by calling 403 938 8954. Please indicate the course code. Payment must be made at time of registration. You will need to provide proof of insurance prior to the event.

General Vendor Information
  1.  Water Bottles: The sale/distribution of water in commercial disposable plastic bottles is not permitted.
  2. Waste Management: Vendors are responsible for cleaning up around their booth and removing all garbage using the waste management system provided
  3. Vendors must to comply with all applicable regulations/codes such as fire, health, etc. Vendors selling food products will abide by Alberta Health Service guidelines and submit relevant applications.
  4. Tents and displays must be secured/anchored.
  5. Power is NOT available. All generators on site must be enclosed or equipped with noise mitigating equipment.
  6. Load In and Out: information pertaining to loading times (in and out) will be provided in advance of the event and must be followed without exception. 
  7. Vehicles are not permitted to park in event zone
  8. Placement of vendors will be at the discretion of the organizers.
  9. Vendors are not permitted to sell tobacco products, drug paraphernalia or any other items deemed inappropriate at a family event.
