Summer Events Artisan Vendors

The Town of Okotoks is looking for Artisans, Artists, Designers & Distributors for the markets at the following 2020 summer events in downtown Okotoks:

  • Buskersfest: June 27

  • Taste of Okotoks: July 18

  • ChiliFest: August 22

These markets will showcase locally produced food, value added packaged foods and artisan products. Do you have a handmade product? Are you an artisan or a distributor of unique products? We are looking forward to adding you to the vendor line-up for the 2020 markets.

Please note that we are not accepting registrations from food truck vendors at this time.

How do I register as a vendor?

For 2020 all vendor registrations will be completed through our online registration process. 

We will no longer be accepting summer event vendor registrations due to COVID-19 restrictions. Please check back for updates.

General Vendor Information
  1.  Water Bottles: The sale/distribution of water in commercial disposable plastic bottles is not permitted.
  2. Waste Management: Vendors are responsible for cleaning up around their booth and removing all garbage using the waste management system provided
  3. Vendors must to comply with all applicable regulations/codes such as fire, health, etc. Vendors selling food products will abide by Alberta Health Service guidelines and submit relevant applications.
  4. Tents and displays must be secured/anchored. (Minimum of 25 pounds per leg of the tent structure)  
  5. Power is NOT available. All generators on site must be enclosed or equipped with noise mitigating equipment.
  6. Load In and Out: information pertaining to loading times (in and out) will be provided in advance of the event and must be followed without exception. 
  7. Vehicles are not permitted to park in event zone
  8. Placement of vendors will be at the discretion of the organizers.
  9. Vendors are not permitted to sell tobacco products, drug paraphernalia or any other items deemed inappropriate at a family event.
