A volunteer program for those over 80 years old or with a permanent disability, who need assistance shoveling their sidewalks or driveways.

Seniors Independent Living

The Seniors Independent Living site offers information to help older adults choose the right retirement community for them. Search the independent living communities close to where you want to live, and read reviews to see what other seniors and their families have to say about their experiences.

Subsidized Transportation

A subsidy is provided to a contracted taxi company for each trip taken and provides users with a reduced taxi fare.

The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) is a FREE service available to eligible residents who have low income and a simple tax situation.

Recreation Fee Assistance

Financial support may be available to people who are currently facing financial challenges and want to participate in Town-operated recreational programs and activities. Pending available funding, this program offers an income–based subsidy intended to make recreation more affordable for local residents.

Activity and Resource Guide

The Activity & Resource Guide (formerly the Community Guide) is published in March, August and December each year and delivered directly to homes in Okotoks. It provides information on aquatics, arts and culture, family and community, personal development, fitness and wellness, and sports programs for all ages in Okotoks. The guide can also be picked up in many Town facilities including the Okotoks Recreation Centre, Pason Centennial Arenas, the Okotoks Public Library, the Okotoks Municipal Centre and the Okotoks Art Gallery.
