Pedal It Forward

Do you need some sort of affordable transportation to get around town?
Are you stuck in a financial rut, and can't afford one?

Donated, second-hand bikes are given to our Environment & Sustainability team, and then refurbished by our wonderful Repair Café volunteers. These bikes are ready for giveaway!

The intent of this program is to provide affordable, sustainable transportation to residents who would otherwise be without it. This is exclusive to people who are experiencing financial crises or hardship in their lives that affect their ability to obtain a bicycle.

Low-income residents are encouraged to apply at the Okotoks Family Resource Centre (OFRC) to receive a donated bike. The OFRC will ensure refurbished bikes are given to those who would greatly benefit.
