Youth Week Day 5: Youth Voices - Sharing your lock down stories

Sunday, May 5, 2019 - 9:00am to Wednesday, September 30, 2020 - 5:00pm

How has the COVID–19 pandemic affected you? Your education, social life, graduation, job hunt, opportunity to play sports or hang with friends? What do you want future generations to know about how this pandemic has affected youth?

The Okotoks Museum & Archives wants you to share your personal story and photos to help ensure your experience and the impact on your life is captured as part of this unprecedented time in history.

Your response can take any form - Write a paragraph, a poem, or submit a photograph or drawing.

This activity kicks off on Tuesday, May 5 as part of Youth Week but is ongoing. There is no deadline to submit your experiences. If you have any questions, please contact the Museum online or call the Okotoks Museum and Archives at 403-938-8969.

At the present time only electronic submissions are being accepted. Hard copies of photo, documents, image etc. will only be collected once the Museum has reopened.

Share your story!

Another Resource: Kids Write

Kids Write is a website where you can share your story about what life is like for you right now. If you want to know how other kids are doing, you can read their stories, too. https://thekidswrite.com.
