Paint-a-Potty painting begins!

The Town of Okotoks Culture & Heritage and Parks Services and the Foothills Composite High School / Alberta High School of Fine Arts (FCHS/AHSFA) collaborated last September on a Paint-a-Potty project where students will designed and would be painting murals on five of the Town’s outdoor concrete washrooms at a later date.

Well, beginning May 9, 2019 these awesome designs, voted by residents, will beautify our concrete washrooms.

  • May 9:  Students will draw their designs on the washroom walls
  • May 10:  Wylie Park will have Circles painted by Rori Golinoski
  • May 15 & 16: Sheep River Park (2) will have Mountain Scape painted by Desirae Quinn
  • May 30:  Riverside Park (2) will have Sun & Peace Signs & Octopus painted by Sydney Wayne-Nixon and Lucy Watt, respectively.
  • May 31:  Howard Park will have Puzzle painted by McKenzie Osberg
