Engineering

The Engineering Department is responsible for reviewing infrastructure design for all new subdivisions, inspecting new infrastructure, and contributing to design and installation activities associated with public roads, lanes and sidewalks, water treatment and distribution, sanitary and storm sewer systems.  Municipal Engineers ensure that appropriate and reasonable engineering design guidelines are in place.  These guidelines must be consistent with industry standards, legislation, as well as Town bylaws and policies.
