This program offers Grade 5 students a variety of fun, FREE ways to learn and experience all the awesome activities at the Okotoks Recreation Centre. This program helps instill the importance of regular physical activity and generates healthy habits that will help keep kids active for life.
Different activities and skills include floor hockey, swimming, basketball, and skating, as well as special events planned throughout the year. Grade 5 Gets Active passholders can participate in all drop in public and family swims, skate and gym times, as well as take advantage of times set aside just for them. 3 easy steps to get your Okotoks Grade 5 Gets Active pass:
- Drop in to the Okotoks Recreation Centre to sign up for the Okotoks Grade 5 Gets Active program. Parents must sign the waiver.
- Check out drop-in times on the drop-in recreation schedule, and watch for special events planned throughout the year
- Get active by checking in at Client Services every time you visit the Okotoks Recreation Centre or Pason Centennial Arena
Who is eligible for the Grade 5 Gets Active pass?
- To participate in the program your child must be a resident of the Town of Okotoks or MD of Foothills attending a school in Okotoks or the region.
