Pason Centennial Arena

Built in 2006, Pason Centennial Arena is a year round, multi-use facility that plays host to a variety of events including: sporting events, concerts,  weddings, trade shows and conferences. The arena accommodates competitive and recreational hockey, figure skating, family and public skating, and organized group activities. 

This 1,500 seat arena is also home to the Okotoks Junior “A” Oilers and is one of the premier facilities in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Surrounded by a full 2-lane walking & running track, Pason Centennial Arena is also home to Okotoks Minor Hockey and the Okotoks Skating Club throughout the year.

HELMETS!

The single most important piece of equipment is a helmet! Effective, Jan. 1, 2018, all users of drop in skating and community programs  and events will be required to wear a CSA approved helmet. All Ages!

To help with this transition, as of Aug. 1, 2017, all users under 18 years old must wear a CSA approved helmet. After Jan. 1, 2018, all users will be required.
