Pason Arena expansion progressing with installation of structural beams
Crews are currently erecting the structural beams for the new expansion of the Pason Centennial Arena and should complete this stage of the project by early March.
During this time the public may notice some additional construction noise while crews tighten the structural bolts, which require the use of air guns.
Deep servicing work is more than 90 percent complete, excess soil has been removed and the majority of beams required at grade level have been installed.
The new expansion has been has been progressing smoothly and the Town is anticipating that the new facility will open in early 2018.
