Council Proclamations

Council proclamations declaring special days, weeks or months for community-based campaigns or programs requested by registered, non-profit societies are often granted by the Mayor and Council.  Requests for Council consideration can be emailed to Legislative & Policy Services, faxed to 403-938-7387, hand delivered or mailed to the Town of Okotoks, P.O. Box 20 Station Main, 5 Elizabeth Street, Okotoks, AB  T1S 1K5.  As Requests for Proclamations are provided to Council for consideration at their regular meetings, requests must be received by the Municipal Secretary 5 days prior to a Council meeting in order to be placed on the agenda for that meeting.
