Bring the whole family out for a full day of entertainment and activities at the Annual Okotoks Parade Day and Children's Festival.
8 AM to 10 AM | 27 McRae Street (Sears parking lot), Downtown Okotoks
Activities start bright and early with the Lions Club Community Breakfast and live music. The Pancake Breakfast is by donation with a suggested donation of $5/individual or $10/family. All proceeds will be donated to the Okotoks Food Bank.

Enjoy the Annual Parade, which begins at the east end of North Railway Street, starting at Poplar Avenue, and proceeds directly through the downtown district. This year's parade theme is the Okotoks Rocks.
NOTE: Road closures are in effect 8 AM to 1 PM on the day of the event.
Enter a float in the parade
Participate in one of the most entertaining events of the year and get your business, club or organization in front of thousands! This year's theme is the "Year of Sport". Commercial float entry just is $35; all other entries are no charge. Review all the rules on the parade page, and fill out a parade application form and register your float before the deadline to enter on June 10, 2016.
12 PM - 3 PM | Ethel Tucker Park, 23 Riverside Drive (next to the Okotoks Public Library)
The Okotoks Children’s Festival is a hugely popular event that kicks off directly after the parade. It's an action-packed stage show this year! This year the Great Balanzo will wow you with a gourmet mix of circus and comedy! Plus local actors from Goodger Pink and Dewdney Players will entertain you with some fairy tale fun! Be the first to see a top secret sneak peek of both of their upcoming outdoor summer shows!
The festival also includes a bouncy slide, climbing wall, bouncy castle, spring form trampoline, life size games from the Public Library, yoga adventures (for all ages) from Yogadown, Balloon creationists, 3 food trucks, face painting, crafts and a food concession (fruit, popcorn and drink, *NO HOT DOGS THIS YEAR).
Please note: no dogs or pets will be permitted into the Children's Festival, for the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
