As a parent, you want the best for your child. The teen years have many rewards but can also pose challenges, such as lack of communication, defiance, unhealthy relationships, depression, or addictions. The Parent Support Association knows that parent-teen relationships can be complicated. They have been there and they are willing to support you and your family as you work through the challenges.
Group meetings are held Wednesday evenings from 7 pm to 9 pm at 11 Cimarron Common, Room 1423 and 1424.
Pre-registration is required. Group participants (parents or caregivers) must attend a Foundations information session prior to attending group. For dates, information and to register for sessions call the Parent Support Association of Calgary at 403-270-1809.
There is a lifetime membership fee of to participate in the group, and a resource book is needed (subsidies available if needed).
