Creating a positive team environment where children can safely interact with other children while parents complete their work day! Located at the Okotoks Recreation Centre, the Okotoks School Age Care (OSAC) program is an accredited and licensed School Aged Care program provided by the Town of Okotoks.

The OSAC is designed to meet the needs of full time and part time working parents who require care for their school age children. Care will be offered through before and after school care activities and programs supervised by trained and responsible staff. The OSAC is in addition to the extensive programs already offered including Summer Activities, Professional Development, Teachers Convention and Schools Out Daycamps. The OSAC works towards creating a positive team environment where children can safely interact with others while parents complete their work day.
 
Starting in the fall of 2014, the program will have 2 locations:
 
Northside Location: Okotoks Recreation Centre
Located at the Okotoks Recreation Centre, the OSAC Northside program is for children attending Grades 1 through 6 at:
• Ecole Elementaire Percy Pegler
• Dr. Morris Gibson School
• Good Shepherd School

Join us before and/or after school Monday to Friday for fun activities in and around the Recreation Centre. Throughout the month, children will utilize the various facilities within the Recreation Centre such as the Swindell's Pool and the Shane Homes Gymnasium. As well, we are fortunate to have a school playground situated within a safe walking distance.
 
Southside Location: 1-204 Community Way
(formerly the Southside Fire Station)
The OSAC Southside location will be located at 1-204 Community Way. The Southside location will open in the fall of 2014 and is for children attending Grades 1 to 6 at:
• Big Rock Elementary School
• St Mary's Elementary School
• Westmount School
 
HOURS OF OPERATION
Before School Care 7:00 am – 8:45 am
After School Care 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Early Dismissal Days 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Professional Development Days* 7:00 am – 6:00 pm (*additional fees apply)
School closures & holidays* 7:00 am – 6:00 pm (*see School's Out PD Day Campinformation; additional fees apply)
CLOSED for Stat Holidays
 
PROGRAM FEES
• $50.00 non-refundable registration fee
• Pre-registration required for all options

Daily – All Space Permitting Rate
Monday to Friday mornings $12.00/day
Monday to Friday afternoons $19.00/day
Early Dismissal FSD afternoons $22.00/day
Early Dismissial CRSD Friday afternoons $22.00/day
Monthly Rate
Mornings $165.00
Afternoons $275.00 (FSD) / $290.00 (CRSD)
Full Time (morning & afternoon) $370.00 (FSD) / $405.00 (CRSD)

Parental involvement is a key component to providing quality childcare to children attending the OSACC. Parents are essential to motivating and encouraging children to participate in the program to enhance the child’s overall experience. The OSACC encourages all parents to be involved in the care for their child(ren) to ensure a positive connection is made between the program and its families.
