Okotoks Interagency is an informal meeting of representatives from agencies, organizations, businesses and interested individuals who provide services to individuals and families. Members meet to share information about services and social programs in Okotoks. It provides an opportunity for service providers to network and discuss social issues that are important to people in Okotoks and area. Interagency provides the opportunity to develop partnerships and avoid duplication of services. Guest speakers present information about new programs available in Okotoks. Information about upcoming events and programs are distributed with the monthly agenda. The Mailing List is shared within the group so that people can easily maintain contact.
Everyone is welcome to attend. Bring along a bag lunch and share in the lively networking.
Meetings are from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the Okotoks Recreation Centre on the 4th Wednesday of the month, with a few exceptions. There are no meetings in July, August and December. The June meeting is generally a Conversation Cafe with discussion on a topic of interest and a luncheon provided by FCSS.
