Outdoor Watering Schedule
Through wise use of water and conservation techniques, the residents of Okotoks continue to be successful in maintaining one of the lowest per capita water usages in Canada. This speaks to how well the citizens of Okotoks have embraced water conservation and have saved money by reducing non-essential use.
Water use in the summer is three times greater the rest of the year. Approximately 40% of the water used during the summer is used outdoors, so please be water wise outdoors. Please respect the specified watering days and hours, as water is a renewable, but not unlimited resource.
If there are changes to the Outdoor Watering Schedule, you will find current information on the home page of okotoks.ca or via outdoor signs, the Western Wheel, the Eagle 100.9 FM and Okotoks Online at www.okotoksonline.com.
