Birth Place Grove
2012
2012 Birth Place Grove was planted to represent Okotoks' newest citizens of 2012 and will grow for many years to come. The 2012 Birth Place Grove is a mixture of trembling aspen, mountain pine, ponderosa pine, Canada buffaloberry and Saskatoons. It is located at the west end of Cimarron Grove parkway west of Kadey Park. Thank you to the generous support from the Okotoks Lions Club and the volunteers from Home Depot. 2011
The forests represent Okotoks' newest citizens of each year which will grow into a grove that can be visited and enjoyed by the people of Okotoks for decades and even centuries. The 2011 Birth Place Forest is a mixture of trembling aspen, spruce, Douglas fir and limber pine and is located in the Sandstone Neighbourhood in Hemus Parkway south of No Frills.
