Public Consultation on Bylaws

The Town of Okotoks regularly reviews and updates Town Bylaws. Bylaws require three readings by Council. There are many new bylaw amendments that do not require extensive public consultation.

Some examples are financial bylaws or land use amendments. Public consultation is desired for bylaws that publicly affect citizens of Okotoks. Some examples would be smoking or traffic bylaws.
