There are two official sized skating ice surfaces of 85' X 200' located at the Recreation Centre. Seating capacity of the Murray Arena is approximately 1000 and the Piper arena seats 250. The arenas accommodate competitive and recreational hockey, ringette, figure skating, family and public skating, and organized group activities. The arena sees more than 25 user groups and over 4300 registered participants utilizing the facilities annually. Ice surfaces have an active season from June to April. When ice is removed the surfaces accommodate special community events like the spring car auction, and fall indoor pro-rodeo.

Public Skating – open to the general public
Family Skating – child must be accompanied by at least one adult on the ice
Noon Hour Adult Hockey– must be 18 years & over, sign in required, limited to 24 skaters and 2 goalies
