Serendipity | Okotoks high school students

‘Serendipity' can be described as things coming together and developing in beneficial ways.

The contributing artists chose this theme because their exhibition is the coming together of students from Holy Trinity Academy and the Alberta High School of Fine Arts / Foothills Composite High School in a collaborative effort to showcase the talents of youth in Okotoks.

The group includes students from Grades 11 and 12 plus some recent graduates, who are combining many artistic styles and mediums, including metal work, photorealistic drawings, paintings and photography.

The traditional competition usually found between high schools disappears as these young artists show off their talents together as a group. It is said that today's youth will become tomorrow's leaders in politics, fashion, science and much more. This exhibition may be the coming together of some of tomorrow's leaders in the world of fine art.
