School Programs
Take art education out of the textbook and into the gallery experience.
Programs at the Okotoks Art Gallery are created for most exhibitions and run for 1.5 to 2 hours. They are based on art education concepts in elementary, junior high and high school and include a gallery tour/talk plus a hands-on component in the art studio. Exhibitions change approximately every 5 to 6 weeks.
Curriculum-based programs are available for school and home school groups, maximum 25, for $50 plust GST. A Fee Subsidy is available through the generous support of FIRST CALGARY FINANCIAL and can be applied towards transportation costs and/or program fees. Subsidies are available on a first-come first-serve basis.
There is no fee to bring your class or group for a self-guided tour of any exhibition, but calling to book ahead is advised - 403.938.3204.
